Living with an incurable brain condition truly takes a team but you are the team captain.  Due to the nature of this disease being incurable and minimal medical advancements in over 60 years,  throughout a liftetime you will continuously need to advocate for you or your loved one. 

​

No one knows oneself, child or loved one better than YOU and that is unmatched to anything that an education program to teach.  

 

We highly recommend to advocate for yourself of loved one when things "just do not seem right."  We support decisions to pursue second opinions with medical specialists when felt necessary and encourage those effected by hydrocephlaus to become as educated as possible.

Advocating does not stop at your own medical care.  This continues by  promoting awareness and the dire need for medical advancement for the entire hydrocephalus community.
